Located in the historic Village of Pinehurst, this stunning 1950s Colonial home needed a more functional and up-to-date kitchen.
The previous kitchen was significantly smaller, with a massive brick wall splitting the space into two small rooms. With extensive planning and coordination with a structural engineer, we carefully removed the brick wall to double the kitchen footprint.
Top of the line appliances, large format floor tile, fixtures, countertops gave this kitchen a dramatic and high end look.

This 1960s primary bathroom was thoughtfully updated with consideration to its historic MCM roots. The space had seen better days since it was first built and a little too small. There was a little “nook” for extra storage between the bedroom and the bath that wasn’t being used to its full potential. Leveraging both the nook and the existing bath created a significantly larger bathroom with a spacious wet shower area.
To give the full customized experience, stacked tile was meticulously installed to ensure no awkward cuts were in the corners and niches. A MCM dresser was repurposed and fabricated as a vanity to give the space some warmth. The original tub was carefully salvaged and then placed on top of a custom tiled step to ensure it would keep its integrity in the new wet bath area for years to come.
